National reserves of rock salt were depleted last winter due to the high demand, this means that rock salt supplies are still very low as the three UK salt mines attempt to replenish the reserves. We are bagging rock salt now and building up our own stocks. however, we strongly advise customers to stock up now in preparation for next winter. We forcast huge salt shortages for 2010/11 winter and price increases from 1st November.
